Gravity Rush has received plenty of praise for delivering a satisfying gameplay experience on the Vita. It looks like that praise has won the game a nice award, which is certainly nice for Sony. Gravity Rush was awarded the Game of the Year Division Grand Award at the Japan Game Awards during the Tokyo Game Show.

The game’s director, Keiichiro Toyama, teased a sequel following the award ceremony. Speaking on Twitter, the dev stated that he would “do his best on the sequel.” Whether this means that said sequel is actually in development or not remains to be seen, but even if Gravity Rush 2 isn’t already in the works, I think it’s safe to assume that we’ll see that game on the Vita soon.

So, is Gravity Rush a game you want a sequel to? The title has certainly earned its spot alongside other great Sony franchises in the eyes of many. Are you up for some more Gravity Rush on your Vita?
