Earlier today, Warner Bros. announced that Injustice: Gods Among Us would launch next year for consoles. The game, which pits numerous DC Comics favorites against each other, will land at retailers in April.

We already knew that Injustice was headed to the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, and it wasn’t long before a Wii U version was announced. In case you’re wondering when that iteration of the upcoming fighter will launch, it looks like it’s in line to release alongside its Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 counterparts.

Last year’s Mortal Kombat was easily one of my favorite games of the year. That’s why I’m so stoked about developer NetherRealm Studios being at the helm for Injustice. Featuring an all-star cast of fighters, interactive environments, and a team of devs who know how to make fighting games, this one could potentially be a winner.
