The folks over at development house Camelot Software Planning really, really want to develop a new Golden Sun for the Nintendo DS. While nothing has been set in stone, vice president of the studio Shugo Takahashi and his brother Hiroyuki say they are currently sifting through a number of RPG-related ideas.

It would be great, wouldn’t it! [Laughing] We want to play that game [Golden Sun DS] too, just as much as you. We love Golden Sun! We are working on a lot of different things – a lot of different design documents and so on, including some different RPG ideas. Don’t worry, we’re thinking about RPG stuff! We’ve got all these ideas, many many different things we’re thinking about – but of course, we still have just one team, so we’ll see what happens.

Let’s hope one of these ideas concerns Golden Sun. Even if not, I won’t mind seeing an all-new RPG from them either.
