Japanese Gaming Site Andriasang Calling It a Day

Sad times are upon us, folks. Yesterday it was revealed that Japanese gaming news site Andriasang would be closing down. The massive statement was made on the website by Anoop Gantayat, the founder of Andriasang.

“I’ve decided to take up a new non game-related opportunity that I believe will keep me super ultra busy, so I will be ceasing daily updates,” announced Gantayat. “Thanks for reading all these years, and a special thanks to everyone who registered and posted comments — even the punk asses I banned.”

Andriasang has been around since 2008, and in that time it gained a strong following for its English language reporting on video game news straight from Japan. I’ve even cited the website right here on eXophase a few times. Andriasang, you will be missed.

I’d like to wish the best to Gantayat in all of his future projects. As for me, I guess I’ll have to find some other websites to get info on Hyperdimension Neptunia V.
