Fuel Overdose Brings ‘Tactical Action Racing’ to PSN

Developer I-Friqiya revealed some information about its upcoming downloadable racer Fuel Overdose. The game is being dubbed a “tactical action racer,” and it’s scheduled to launch on the PlayStation Network. What those elements entail is anyone’s guess, but the trailer above shows off two minutes of the racing aspect in Fuel Overdose.

The game looks like it could be a lot of fun. Fuel Overdose features drift mechanics, explosions, and even grappling hooks. That’s right, grappling hooks in a racing game! I’m very curious to see what the whole tactical thing is about. We’ll find that out in the future, though, as I-Friqiya has announced that it will release an “action” trailer for the game which is sure to be followed by a trailer focusing on the tactical element.

There’s still no word on when Fuel Overdose will launch on Sony’s download platform, but we should be getting details on that soon. In the meantime, check out the trailer and see what this game is all about. It definitely has the potential to be a crazy little racing title.
