Microsoft UK’s GTA IV Marketing Budget To Match Halo 3

Move over Halo 3. According to Xbox UK head Stephen McGill, the marketing campaign for the Xbox 360 version of Grand Theft Auto IV will match that of last year’s biggest entertainment launch.

Our campaign is the same sort of scale as our Halo 3 campaign last year so you can expect to see and hear a lot about GTA IV on Xbox 360 over the coming weeks.

The massive campaign effort is poised to kick off this week in Europe with lifestyle press advertising and commercial-based TV advertisements. Of course, you can expect Microsoft to emphasize the fact that the 360 version is receiving exclusive downloadable-based content.
