September 11, 2006 – A recent update by the Entertainment Software Ratings Board (ESRB) has revealed a number of SEGA titles coming to Nintendo Wii’s Virtual Console. The classic games include all of the following:

* Ecco the Dolphin
* Altered Beast
* Toe Jam & Earl
* Golden Axe
* Columns
* Sonic the Hedgehog
* Ristar

Readers can verify this information for themselves by going to ESRB’s official website and doing a search by platform for Wii games.

The fact that these classic games show up for Wii on ESRB’s website is a good sign because publishers have to submit their games for the organization’s approval prior to their release — hence, the ESRB would not just create a list like this out of thin air.
