Heihachi and Toro Join the Fight in PlayStation All-Stars

Sony promised to reveal two new additions to the PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale roster during its EVO presentation, and that’s exactly what it did. Entering the fray of both first- and third-party characters are Heihachi Mishima and Toro Inoue.

A staple of Namco Bandai’s Tekken franchise, Heihachi will bring his fancy footwork and plenty of familiar moves to the upcoming crossover fighter. Meanwhile Toro will deliver even more Sony representation, as the Japanese mascot has been around for quite some time and has managed to sneak into a handful of other games including the recent Street Fighter X Tekken.

In addition to the two character reveals, Sony also announced a new level for PlayStation All-Stars. The new battle stage, Dojo, is a colorful outdoor area inspired by Parappa the Rapper‘s Chop Chop Master Onion.

PlayStation All-Stars is getting crazier and crazier, and really, could we expect (or want) anything less? This is a fighting game! Hell, it’s a crossover fighting game! It’s supposed to be crazy. Here’s hoping the game only gets more insane in terms of its roster and stages as it nears launch.
