Rockstar Games is doing it big this weekend with Max Payne 3‘s online multiplayer. From now until Sunday night, you’ll be able to earn double XP in all of the game’s online modes. This includes settling vendettas and earning XP with your Social Club Crew buddies.  So if you’re after those higher ranks, jump right in and get crackin’. Or, umm, get shootin’.

As if double XP wasn’t enough incentive to blow some faces off in Max Payne 3, Rockstar will be awarding prize pack giveaways with neat stuff like Hawaiian shirts. So yeah, if you’ve been playing Max Payne 3 like a madman, continue to do so. And if you’ve put the game aside over the past few weeks, I’d suggest you pick it right back up again. Now, if you don’t actually own Max Payne 3, well, go buy it and play some online multiplayer.

This awesome double XP weekend is open to Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC players, and it is currently underway across both the game’s original maps, as well as the Local Justice maps. Well, I know what I’ll be doing this weekend!
