Kaz Hirai stepped down from his position as representative director and chairman of Sony Computer Entertainment, but before he left, he made sure to party hard. Well, maybe things didn’t get too crazy, but SCE certainly threw its boss a nice going away shindig.

SCE Worldwide President Shuhei Yoshida went on Twitter and posted a picture from the party. In it we see Hirai holding something quite peculiar. It looks like the former boss was presented with a one-of-a-kind PlayStation 3. The damn thing is gorgeous, and Yoshida made sure to let everyone know about its availability, tweeting, “A special PS3 custom made for Kaz. Not for sale.”

While Hirai has stepped down from his duties at SCE, it should be noted that he will remain on the Board in a part-time capacity. That’s great news, because it means we can expect more of that awesome Hirai Twitter parody.
