Today Rockstar Games announced that it would be releasing the first multiplayer DLC pack for Max Payne 3 on July 3 and July 17 for consoles and PC, respectively. The Local Justice Pack will include several additions to the already stellar multiplayer component in Rockstar’s impressive third-person shooter. Originally priced at $7.99, the add-on content will be discounted  to $5.99 the first week due to Rockstar feeling totally bad about not launching the DLC in June. Well, that’s certainly nice of them! The Local Justice Pack includes the following goodies:

  • 55th Battalion HQ map for all game modes
  • The Imperial Palace and Departure Lounge maps for Deathmatch, Team Deathmatch, and Payne Killer
  • Light Fingers Item for faster looting
  • M4 Assault Rifle with attachments
  • São Paulo Police Faction with related avatar customization options

That’s some cool stuff that’s sure to make fans of Max Payne 3‘s multiplayer modes completely stoked. To get you even more pumped, Rockstar will also release all pre-order and retail DLC on the same day as the Local Justice Pack at fixed (and affordable) individual prices. This includes the cemetery map and that awesome old school Max character for multiplayer.

The Local Justice Pack and additional DLC is priced pretty fairly, but if you want to get more of a deal, and if you intend on playing Max Payne 3 for a long time, you’re probably better off purchasing the Rockstar Pass, which ensures that you get all of the content listed here, as well as all future DLC, free at launch.
