Sony has just revealed at their E3 presser Assassin’s Creed III: Liberation for the PlayStation Vita. The new title will revolve around Aveline, the series’s first female main character. The story will take place in New Orleans during the late 18th century and will run alongside the Assassin’s Creed III story. The title will allow owners of both Assassin’s Creed games to take advantage of their deep pockets with the new crossplay functionality. Once you connect your two devices using crossplay you will be able to unlock exclusive in-game items.

Those who have been waiting for the white PlayStation Vita will be happy to learn that it will be coming stateside with the release of ACIII:L in a new bundle, including the game and a 4gb memory stick.
