Capcom has announced a limited edition Street Fighter compilation, due out on September 18 in North America for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. Titled Street Fighter 25th Anniversary Collector’s Set, the collection of games and other goodies will celebrate the long-running fighting franchise’s impressive 25-year run. According to Capcom, the collection was created with the fans of the series in mind.

The set includes Super Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix, Street Fighter III 3rd Strike Online Edition, Super Street Fighter IV Arcade Edition, and Street Fighter X Tekken. Characters and costumes that were featured as DLC in the last two titles will also be included. Gamers who pick up this limited edition compilation will also get a documentary, Street Fighter IV and Super Street Fighter IV anime movies, the entire Street Fighter animated series, and Street Fighter II: The Animated Movie.

Included in the set are a few collectibles, as well. Buyers will get a Ryu statue, soundtrack CD, 64-page hardcover art book, replica Ryu belt, and an individually numbered certificate of authenticity.

Street Fighter 25th Anniversary Collector’s Set will be priced at $149.99. I’d say you should wait for Super Street Fighter 25th Anniversary Collector’s Set HD Remix, which will launch five months later with more stuff and tweaked gameplay for $29.99.
