Japan Gets New Wii White GameCube Controller

In a somewhat unexpected move, Nintendo has revealed that it is releasing a Wii-white GameCube controller in Japan. Aside from the obvious color change and 3 meter long cable, this is an original, bare-bones GC pad with no extra functionality.
Scheduled for a release later this month, the controller will retail for 2,000 yen, or around $20. Unsurprisingly, there’s been no word on a stateside release.
