ESRB Watch: R-Types

Fan of Irem’s classic horizontal shooting series? If so, that’s good, because R-Types has been re-rated by the ESRB for a PlayStation Network release. Released back in 1999 for Sony’s PSOne, the game is a compilation of both R-Type and R-Type II in one snug package.
If this were the Virtual Console, I’d wager that a release is imminent. But seeing as Sony is mind-numbingly slow to release PSOne classics on the North American PSN, it may be awhile before we see R-Types.
