No Gears 2 At Comic Con ’08, Says Rein

Earlier this week, the New York Comic Con sent out a press release detailing this year’s conference, which is set to kick off on April 18. Among the highlights was mention that the event would offer a “glimpse into this year’s upcoming Gears of War 2.”
However, according to Epic Games’ VP Mark Rein, the reality is very much different. “I’m not aware that we’re showing anything there,” Rein said in response to the press release.
That’s a let down. If anything, perhaps they plan on showing off the same short teaser trailer we saw during GDC.
