Stormfront Studios Closing Its Doors

After nearly twenty years in operation, developer Stormfront Studios is closing its doors, reports industry site Next-Gen.biz.
“Frankly, we didn’t get pitched, and the project [we were working on] made no revenue.” said a Stormfront representative when commenting on the closure of the studio. The rep added, “The economy is such that the projects that we weren’t winning, ended.”
The company’s most recent venture was a video game adaptation of the film The Spiderwick Chronicles. With critically-acclaimed titles like Neverwinter Nights and 1992’s Stronghold to their name, Stormfront was undoubtedly a talented studio. It’s sad to see ’em go, especially after such a long time in the business.
