Condemned 2 Players Experiencing Audio Issues

According to a number of members over at the official SEGA of America community forums, the audio in Condemned 2 may crackle or drop out altogether at various points in the game. One member contacted SEGA directly regarding the issue and received the following response:

Thank you for writing. SEGA is aware of these issues and is actively investigating them. As the game is brand-new we are obviously quite concerned to hear of problems, in particular the controller issues.

Although the issue is primarily affecting PlayStation 3 owners of the game, those who have the 360 version are experiencing the very same audio issue.

For now, SEGA is recommending to use a standard AV cable rather than an HDMI cable. This reportedly fixes any problems with the audio, but isn’t an ideal solution at all. Let’s hope SEGA can release a patch to rectify this issue in a timely manner.

I came online to complain about that very thing and it's already been posted.I thought my PS3 was going stupid..but since the 2.20 update I've actually had some audio issues so I'm not so sure it's the games fault.I've talked with several users over at the Playstation forums that are having similiar problems with their PS3's since the update. Not only is Condemed dropping the audio in some areas but my video files that were fine before the update are dropping the audio all together,I have to go into the Audio settings on my PS3 and reconfigure to get it back..one minute they play ok,then if I start another file it's silent.I got the final trailer from Rockstars site for GTA IV and it played fine in my PC but when I transferred it to my PS3 the audio was gone..the codec wasn't taggged anymore..WTF??!!! I had to use DIVx4PSP Final to convert the file on my PC to the PS3's AVC MP4 format..wierd.

Sony needs to address this and release an update to fix these issues and not try to blame Sega like they blamed Ubisoft(AC)...because it's got to be an issue that was caused by the update..
