SOCOM Confrontation Dated, Deploys September 16

Sony, by way of 1UP, has confirmed that SOCOM: Confrontation, the latest iteration in its tactical third-person shooter series, will hit retailers and as a downloadable PlayStation Network title on September 16.
Tomorrow Sony plans to re-launch the official SOCOM website in preparation for the game’s release with exclusive news and updates. Following the release of Confrontation, the site will provide a wealth of statistical information for multiplayer battles in real-time as well as handy tools for managing your clan.
