Microsoft Confirms E3 2012 Briefing Date, Time

As far as E3 2012 announcements are concerned, Microsoft will once again go first this year. The company has confirmed that its E3 briefing will be held on June 4 at 10:00 a.m. PDT. Sony’s event will kick off on the same day, but in the evening instead.

Of course, what will be shown is anyone’s guess, until the inevitable leaks emerge that usually preceded the event by a week or two. That said, we wouldn’t be surprised to see a focus on Kinect along with a proper unveiling of Halo 4, which was merely teased with a brief trailer last year. Further integration of Xbox Live services across mobile devices seems a likely bet too.
