Purveyors of all things retro — WayForward — is releasing Double Dragon Neon on PSN and XBLA this summer, an 80s style revival of the hit arcade brawler.

The title is billed as “WayForward’s love letter to the decade that spawned the franchise.” It goes beyond a mere graphical facelift, ushering in drop-in, drop-out co-op, along with the ability to build a mix-tape of power-ups. Beyond that, it’s a traditional beat ’em up at the core, with plenty of combos and weapon drops.
