Midway’s Unreal Tournament III and Stranglehold have officially gone platinum. In an earnings conference call, company execs revealed that both titles have sold over one million units worldwide.
Despite low NPD figures for the PC version of UT III, Midway was pleased with the title’s retail performance in international markets.
On the subject of a Mortal Kombat title for current-gen platforms, which was first mentioned in a financial update released back in October, Midway said that we can expect details to be unveiled during its upcoming Gamers Day event in mid-April.
