Assassin’s Creed III Out On October 30

by Mike Bendel on February 15, 2012 @ 11:04 am

In an inventor’s call earlier this morning, Ubisoft boss Yves Guillemot dropped word that Assassin’s Creed III will release on October 30. Talk about a fast turnaround time, considering the previous entry – Revelations – hit shelves in November. While details are almost non-existent, Ubi did confirm that the title will star a new protagonist.

Gullemot is touting the title as “the biggest launch in Ubisoft history.” Platform specifics weren’t mentioned, but this makes us wonder if a Wii U version is on the cards.

It’s not clear where the next Assassin’s Creed is headed in terms of setting, but a popular idea being thrown around is the American Revolution. We’ll likely find out for sure come E3 time.

Quick turn around? They've been pumping out an AC title every fall since the first one.

So since 3 is coming out will they stop milking it for everything they can, or will they end up coming out with even more after even though they said there was only going to be 3 games?

There better be more than one city in it this time.

I only played the first one and a couple of missions of the second one and got bored of the series.
