Above, a supposed render of Sony’s yet to be officially announced Bluetooth headset for PlayStation 3. Reportedly, the device will launch later this summer as a standalone peripheral for $49.99 and in a bundle pack that includes SOCOM: Confrontation on a Blu-ray disc for $59.99. The fact sheet we received provides further details on the device:

* Provides High-fidelity audio input to PS3
* Supports “voice command” in certain PS3 games
* Easy pairing through USB connection with PS3
* Comes with docking station for easy charging
* Compatible with cellphones

Again, Sony has yet to release official details so we’re cautiously filing this one under rumor for the time being — however, we remain confident that this is the real deal.

u know they already have a bluetooth headset for the PS3 that came with Warhawk. Why spend and additional $50? Now the Socom bundle seems like a good idea for those who didn't buy Warhawk. I doubt it will only be a $10 price difference though.
