Don’t have a PSP (shame on you) and want to give God of War: Chains of Olympus a spin? Tough luck, sonny. According to Ready At Dawn, there will “NOT” be a PlayStation 2 port of Kratos’ latest epic, contrary to rumors fomented by 1UP’s gossip agent Quartermann.

Moving forward, we can confirm that Chains of Olympus will be our last PSP game as we’re moving on to other projects and other ideas on other consoles. We can also confirm that this will be our first and last God of War game as, just like Daxter before it, there will NOT be a PS2 port of the game. We like our games PSP exclusives :)

So there you have it – better cough up the cash and buy a PSP if you want to play this game.
