Another GameSpot Vet Bites The Dust

And so, the seemingly never-ending GameSpot exodus continues. Longtime PC game reviewer Jason Ocampo announced his leave yesterday on the site’s weekly Hotspot podcast.
Details behind Ocampo’s decision to depart are not entirely clear, however, a statement he made on this week’s podcast suggests that his decision was not directly influenced by the controversial firing of Jeff Gerstmann.
“This wasn’t something I was planning… three weeks ago I didn’t know I would be leaving,” said Ocampo.
Wow. If this keeps up, there will soon be no more familiar faces at GameSpot. Best of luck to Jason in his future endeavors.
