GameStop Drops HD-DVD, Too

File this bit of info under rumor if you’re still not convinced HD-DVD is dead. According to a tip we received from a GameStop employee, as of tomorrow the retail chain will no longer accept HD-DVD merchandise for trade-in. Yes, that even includes Microsoft’s Xbox 360 HD-DVD peripheral.
No word on what will become of GameStop’s current stock of HD-DVD drives. But we don’t think anyone cares, either.
