Sony Moves 1 Million PS3 Units In UK

by Mike Bendel on February 13, 2008 @ 10:40 am

Sony has confirmed that sales of its PlayStation 3 console in the United Kingdom alone have surpassed the 1 million barrier. What’s more, is that the PS3 has actually reached the mark faster than that of its older brother, the PS2, which sold one million units after 50 weeks of release.

Additionally, ChartTrack data reveals that the PS3 has been outpacing the 360 sales-wise for the last month. If Sony keeps up the pace, it looks like EA’s financial predictions for 2008 might not be too far off.
