Media Install Option In Monster Hunter 2nd G To Reduce Load Times

Capcom revealed during an event held in Shinagawa, Tokyo, that upcoming PSP title Monster Hunter Portable 2nd G will include a “Media Install” feature, which essentially allows players to install bits of game data straight to their memory stick for faster load times. We presume it will result in prolonged battery life as well, since the game won’t be reading in data from the UMD as frequently.
However, it was not specified if the installation process will be mandatory. If optional, then this will certainly be a welcoming feature.
