Sony announced today at the Web 2.0 Summit that the PlayStation Vita will be arriving on February 22nd, 2012 for the United States, Canada, Latin America, Europe, Africa, Middle East, and Australia. The base PS Vita model will sell for $249 (USD) / €249 (EUR)/ ¥24,980 (JPY), with the 3G/WiFi model selling for $299 (USD) / €299 (EUR) / ¥29,980 (JPY). According to Sony there are more than 100 games in development, although no specific titles have been announced for the system’s launch.
