Japanese blogger sinobi, who regularly updates with leaked Famitsu sales data, is reporting that Wii title Super Smash Bros. Brawl sold over 500,000 units on its first day. If true, it’s not exactly surprising, considering the sheer amount of Wii owners that lined up at Japanese stores yesterday to pick up the title.

Expect Media Create sales data to hit later next week with the official first week numbers.
