EA Slices Up The Orange Box
by Mike Bendel on January 31, 2008 @ 10:02 pm

EA execs confirmed in today’s revealing conference call that the company plans to release all of the new games in Valve’s Orange Box compilation (Portal, Half-Life 2: Episode 2, and Team Fortress 2) as separate PC titles in retail. No word on pricing, but the three titles are expected to ship out at the end of March.
Pointless? Yeah I’d say so. Especially since you can already purchase these titles as separate downloads via Valve’s Steam service.
