Confirmed: Mass Effect 3 Has Co-op

It’s long been rumored that BioWare has been working on spicing up its Mass Effect series with a multiplayer component. Today, executive producer Casey Hudson let the cat of the bag: ME3 will feature co-op missions.

“Yes, co-op MP missions for #ME3: they’re real, and they’re spectacular. Rest assured it’s nothing of what you’ve feared. More soon,” tweeted Hudson.

Beyond that, details are nonexistent at this point. Australian magazine PCPowerPlay has an exclusive cover story on it, which hits newsstands October 19. Expect deets to surface by then.

I never thought this would be bad, regardless of what they did with it. After Mass Effect 1 and 2, I'll give Bioware the benefit of the doubt.

Bring on some motherfucking Mass Effect Co-op.

slicer4ever says:

co-op would be fucking EPIC!!!!, i hope it's the entire SP campaign that's co-op, not just some throw away side missions.

TeamOverload says:

From how they made it sound, they are just random side missions, and not the campaign itself.

slicer4ever says:

yea, that's what i'm thinking as well, they have alot of potential of making ME3 one of the best games ever, i hope they don't screw up the co-op portion with something akin to GTA: San andreas's co-op capability's.
