Mistranslations of a certain Famitsu article recently made their way online, indicating that PlayStation 3 title Final Fantasy XIII would ship to retail stores this year. In an emailed statement today, Square Enix let us know that any “reports of a confirmed release date are erroneous and should be disregarded.”
