Next Project from Heavy Rain Dev ‘Something Exciting, Different’

The next project from Heavy Rain developer Quantic Dream is a PS3 exclusive. Given the studio’s close ties with Sony, there’s no surprise there. What’s intriguing is that the studio is working on “something exciting, something different,” according to game director David Cage.
The aim, he says, is to build on the foundations of Heavy Rain while adding innovation into the mix.
“Yeah we signed another deal with Sony. Hopefully we’re building something exciting, something different. Hopefully it will build on the foundations of Heavy Rain, but go forward in a very, very, different way,” Cage told Develop.
Heavy Rain was certainly a unique experience and Quantic has always been one to think outside the box. We can’t wait to see what’s in store.
