Parent company Vivendi Entertainment today announced that Blizzard amassed $1.2 billion in revenue in 2007, up 58 percent from the previous year. Unsurprisingly, a good chunk of this change was made thanks to the continued success of the company’s vastly popular MMORPG World of Warcraft, which now has over 10 million subscribers worldwide.

Blizzard Entertainment’s 2008 outlook is bright with the much-anticipated Starcraft II set for release this year along with Wrath of the Lich King, the second World of Warcraft expansion.
