It’s been awhile since we’ve heard of news regarding the status of Wii titles Animal Crossing and Kirby, but you’ll be relieved to know that they are still well in development and slated for a 2008 release, according to Nintendo’s latest financial report.

Also listed in the report for a 2008 release in Japan are Wii Music, Super Mario Stadium Family Baseball, Disaster: Day of Crisis, and Battalion Wars 2. In a nutshell, there’s nothing we didn’t already know here, aside from the fact that this does dispel rumors of Kirby Wii being canned, which originated from Nintendo’s in-house UK magazine.
