Kaz: No PS3 Price Cut Planned
by Mike Bendel on January 22, 2008 @ 3:31 pm

Recently, a rumor has been circulating that the PS3 would receive a price cut at the end of this month. Well, Sony prez Kaz Hirai himself has come to put an end to all this price cut talk.
Speaking to Bloomberg Japan, Hirai explicitly stated that there are “no plans” whatsoever to cut the price of the PlayStation 3 console in any region, effectively dispelling rumors of a price cut taking place in January.
Sure, the PS3 will no doubt receive another price cut in the future, but now clearly isn’t the time for such talk.
