The latest issue of Game Informer has the skinny on Insomniac Games’ follow-up to the hit PlayStation 3 launch title Resistance: Fall of Man. The highlights? The sequel will feature 60 player online, and an exclusive single player campaign that’s different from the 8 player co-op campaign.

Additionally, Resistance 2 brings forth the introduction of character classes. From what we know right now, players will be able to choose from a heavy tank, special ops, and medic.

According to the magazine, Insomniac is aiming for a Fall 2008 release.
