Rockwall Gamer Attempts Building Nuclear Reactor In Home

A Texan gamer who reportedly is a “out-of-work computer whiz [that] redesigns video games” received an unexpected visit from federal agents last week Friday after he tried to create a small-scale nuclear reactor in his own house.

Federal investigators were notified of the experiment when the man had blogged that he was in possession of an unspecified amount of uranium and wrote that the radiation in his home had nearly doubled.

The agents found that the man’s experiment was relatively harmless, only low levels of radiation were detected. When questioned by reporters, the man said he doesn’t plan to conduct any more similar experiments.
