HBO Goes Blu

Another day, another nail in HD-DVD’s coffin. Following New Line’s move to Blu-ray, HBO Video president Henry McGee today announced that HBO is “following the same policy as Warner Home Video,” by releasing future high-definition titles exclusively on Blu-ray format.

Previous to this announcement HBO maintained a neutral stance between the two formats and released titles on both HD-DVD and Blu-ray.
