There’s a new challenger joining the Super Smash Bros. Brawl character roster and it’s none other than Captain Olimar along with a host of five multicolored Pikmin friends, Brawl creator Masahiro Sakurai announced today.

Masahiro Sakurai reveals that Olimar needs the Pikmin to perform his Smash Attack, and that the creatures have a strong tendency to scatter. Additionally, Sakurai uploaded a new piece of music from the game, titled Pikmin: World Map, which we presume will be used in the Pikmin stage. Have a listen here.
