Sony Confirms In-Game XMB For 2008

Sony spokesperson Paul Purdy confirmed at the 2008 Consumer Electronics Show that in-game XMB is coming to the PlayStation 3 this year, reports gaming site TGR. The rep unfortunately would not pin a date or give a release timeline, but rest assured that the long-awaited feature is coming this year.

hope they add a in-xmb chat session like MSN that u can *alt+tab* replica and basically chat rather than send txt msgs

This is a needed update its impossible to set up a game of COD4 without leaving the game 1st.

So what does this mean extactly, that we would be able to pause a game, go to the menu and resume the game back from the point were we paused it?
