Unprecedented Wii Demand Hurts Future Plans

Speaking to Reuters, Nintendo of America president Reggie Fils-Aime admitted that the current level of demand for Wii is making future business planning difficult.
The level of demand we are facing complicates all of our future business planning. Reggie Fils-Aime, president of Nintendo of America, told Reuters in an interview. “All of that becomes a much tougher exercise until we have supply and demand curves that intersect.
That’s exactly why Nintendo is slowly increasing production. A sudden drop in demand could spell trouble, so it’s no surprise that they’re being overly cautious.
