Video Game Training Heads To DS

According to this week’s issue of Famitsu, Namco Bandai is to release the cleverly named Video Game Training DS in Japan.

The title is essentially a collection of old-school arcade games, including Namco classics Xevious, Mappy, Galaga, Druaga’s Tower, Family Stadium, Dragon Buster, and more. Also included in the package are 500 mini-games based on over 30 different Namco titles.

Really, now. This sounds like a slightly upgraded version of the already-released Namco Museum DS, but with a title that is designed to lure in casual gamers. I’ll pass!
