Homebrew developer Mediumgauge has released an update to PSP Filer, a handy file management application designed for the PSP that allows users to easily edit, copy, delete, and transfer files to and from the memory stick and flash memory.

Additions in this release include the ability to calculate SHA-1 hash values, along with various bug fixes that are outlined in the changelog below.

Changes In Version 4.51

filer:
- added a feature to calculate SHA-1.
- fixed a bug that a smaller file could not be overwritten.
- fixed a bug that Filer was crashed when CPU runs at 100%.
(e.g. changing device when calculating directory size, playing MP3 at 80MHz, text viewer on bend mode, etc.)

Excellent release medgauge :D . Love the ability to utilize the extra memory in the PSP Slim.

I have a suggestion for a next release.

The ability to transfer large files/folders on the memory card to another memory card by reading pieces of the file to RAM and swapping memory cards until the file/folder is fully copied. This would be useful for copying entire directories containing more than ~23/~56 MB of files.

Although that would be great, there is already psp app that lets your transfer files between two psps. He is? also going to add that to the psp filer
