Castlevania Movie Put On Hold
by Mike Bendel on December 7, 2007 @ 11:02 am

A few months ago, director Paul W.S. Anderson attempted to rush the movie adapdation of Konami’s Castlevania series into production. Turns out, as a result of the ongoing writers strike, his plans have been foiled.
According to Variety, production has been put on hold because Anderson needed additional script work done. Maybe this is a good thing? Even as a big Castlevania fan, I don’t have high hopes for the movie. Remember that Anderson is responsible for directing the largely disappointing Mortal Kombat movie.
