Earlier today, Capcom sent out a press release finally revealing some details on the next chapter in its fabled Street Fighter game series. Now Brazilian gaming site Blogeek has disclosed further details on the title.
The site claims that SF IV will run a silky smooth 60 frames per second, which is always a standard for fighters so that’s good news, and feature a full-fledged online battle mode.
The parry system from SF III has been removed in IV, replacing it with canceling system called either Saving or Revenge. Super moves will be available, in addition to new Ultra moves.
Other tidbits: the game takes place after Super Street Fighter II Turbo and before Street Fighter III. Featuring a character roster composed of many brawlers from previous SF titles, we can also expect brand-new characters to be thrown into the mix. In addition, Shen Long may appear in the game.
As always, take these rumors with a grain of salt. Although they are convincing since the respective site has released two never before seen screenshots in addition to the above info.
