GTA IV Will Be “Vastly Better” Than Expectations

Speaking to Reuters, Take-Two Chairman Strauss Zelnick, has said that Grand Theft Auto IV will be “vastly better” than current expectations — which are already quite high.

I believe this release, ‘Grand Theft Auto IV,’ is going to be vastly better than those expectations — vastly better — and that’s hard to do when expectations are so high.

On the business side of things, Zelnick said that Take-Two is looking to grow – not to sell its franchises off for profit. Looking towards the future, Zelnick also said that he sees four to six publishers dominating the gaming side of the industry.
