Nintendo Squashes DS Redesign Rumors
by Mike Bendel on November 15, 2007 @ 12:11 pm

Earlier today, Pacific Crest Securities analyst Evan Wilson made a bold claim that Nintendo was working on a successor to the DS Lite. A Nintendo spokesperson has responded to said claim, calling it nothing more than “rumor and speculation.” Doesn’t mean we won’t see a new model eventually, as this is not an outright denial.
In his original report, Wilson was quoted as saying that the new model was “thinner, has on-board storage, and larger screens.”
